The 3rd Annual Toxies

Join us on Sunday, June 24, 2012 for the 3rd Annual Toxies!

The Toxies Host Committee is excited to announce that the 2012 Toxies will be held at the historic Silent Movie Theatre in Los Angeles, a unique venue that is sure to take our show to new heights (or is it lows?) as we showcase our cast of caustic characters.

The theatre was a revival house from it’s inception in 1942, and for decades was the only silent movie theatre in the country.

In recent years, the facility became managed by Cinefamily, a nonprofit that is dedicated to showing an eclectic mix of films both with and without sound.

Given it’s illustrious history, the Silent Movie Theatre is the perfect setting for our silent but deadly Toxies.

The 2012 nominees will be announced on a rolling basis in April. Crowd favorites Mercury and Lead are sure to return with their legendary rivalry, and several new and wicked Toxies will make their debut.

Admission is free but seating is limited so RSVP now! And please join us and the Toxie stars for the After Party ($50), which will be held in the theatre’s lovely Spanish Patio.

We are also looking for Sponsors to help us make this the best Toxies ever. Last year over 500 people attended live events across the country and over 15,000 viewed the live web cast of the event. We expect even more viewers and participants this year.
